Who We Are


Kankakee County Federal Employees Federal Credit Union is a non-profit financial institution. Credit Unions are financial institutions formed by an organized group of people with a common bond.  We are owned and operate only for our members.

Kankakee County Federal Employees Federal Credit Union was founded in 1938. We are federally charted through the National Credit Union Administration.  Our credit union is federally insured through NCUA for up to $250,000.  The credit union is made up of over 500 members with assets of $4.5+ million.  Any federal or county employee who lives or works in Kankakee County is eligible for membership.  Immediate family members and federal/county retirees are also eligible for membership.
